Freezing Vibration 01

Frankly, I didn't have high expectations for this, having watched the first series.

So you could say the show lived up to my expectations. Some nova fight, some fan-service in the form of random showers and ripped clothing, and a mysterious antagonist hiding in the shadows. The second half of the episode was dominated by new character introductions and some crappy melodrama, undoubtedly to introduce the setting for the new plot arc.

However, the music was fantastic - be it the gentle piano track used during the introduction or the epic Nova battle track, everything set the atmosphere well and was enjoyable to listen to. I loved the ending theme too, you could immediately tell who the singer was from her distinctive voice and style.

The Good
- Fantastic music
- Action, and lots of it
- Fantastic ending card

The Bad
- Weak, indecisive harem lead
- Lack of plot
- Excessive fan-service

Perhaps watchable if you're looking for plot-less action with some fan-service and willing to lower your expectations.

Rating: 5/10

Obligatory shower fan-service
Obligatory pseudo-villain for melodrama and "plot"
Best Girl
Moby Dick makes a cameo
More obligatory fan-service
