Outbreak Company 07

Crouching Maid, Hidden Myuseru
This was Myuseru's episode to shine, and her naive curiosity was a sight to behold.

This episode was, without question, the Myuseru episode of the show. We probably won't get another episode this dedicated to her. But what an episode it was.

Firstly, Myuseru has guts. To break the rules and smuggle herself in Shinichi's bag? That takes an incredible amount of bravery and determination. Incredible levels of moe was reached when Myuseru's naive innocence shone forth - whether it was her fascination with the infamous spray function of Japanese toilets, or her amazement with modern transportation, moving her to tears at the train station. Perhaps the best part for Myuseru was her disbelief at being called an "ojou-sama" at the maid cafe. Although glossed over briefly, it'd be impossible not to realize how much of an impact that would have for a person with Myuseru's experiences and past. A person's mindset is often a product of their society, and this is revolutionary for her.

Not that the show didn't forget the humor - there was plenty to go around. There was also a huge amount of trolling, my eyes burned when naked apron Galious showed up. Matoba is probably #1 troll of the show, with AV parodies of Rental Madoka and complete bullshit about differences in the composition of Earth's atmosphere. Zakhar won #1 fail, displaying his prowess as a master of disguise - a true ninja.

The ani-references went up even further, with mentions to shows like Strike Witches, Yuru Yuri, Haiyore! Nyaruko-san, Sword Art Online, Shingeki no Kyojin, Minami-ke, and Milky Holmes. A quick google (or should I say guugure?) reveals that Oikawa Kei is the director of both Minami-ke Okaeri and Outbreak Company, making the meta self-references hilarious.

Rental Madoka AV?
Guugure it.
Forgery 101.
Myuseru is best girl.
Adorable hat.
Sleeping angel.
Zakar, Master of a Thousand Faces.
